Crystalline silicon solar cell makers Gintech Energy and Motech Industries have released first-quarter 2014 financial reports, recording net EPS of NT$0.60 and NT$0.35 respectively.

Gintech posted consolidated revenues of NT$4.287 billion (US$141 million), gross margin of 12.42%, net operating profit of NT$353 million and net profit of NT$244 million for the first quarter, while Motech generated consolidated revenues of NT$5.984 billion, gross margin of 8.66%, net operating profit of NT$235 million and net profit of NT$153 million.
